  • What topics will be covered at FMA’s Birmingham Mastermind?

At Mastermind, we cover every single element of running a successful fitness business in this new economy. We cover all different types of topics from marketing, sales, operations, financials, and much more. You get to find out what’s working right now and hear from your peers firsthand as they showcase their successes and what they’ve done to grow and scale their businesses. This will not be a death-by-PowerPoint lecture! It’s interactive and you’ll not leave with a massive to-do list as you’ll be doing the work on the day itself to move your business forward.

  • How much is it to attend?

FMA’s Mastermind is completely free to all clients. It’s just a value add that we do to bring everyone together and we bear the cost of everything. You just need to get yourself there and pay for your own accommodation if applicable. We’ll even pay for your lunch. This event we are restricted to only 200 attendees and even though it’s free to attend it is on a first come first served basis so make sure you register straight away.

  • Can I bring my team/staff member?

Unfortunately, no. This Mastermind event is for business owners only and no secondary staff are allowed. Of course, if you have a business partner then, by all means, both of you can attend but unfortunately, we can’t allow additional team members to attend at this time.

  • Is there a Sales Bootcamp the day before?

Yes, here are the details you need to know:

  • Is it best to stay the night before?

I always encourage people to stay the night before because there is nothing worse than the stress of getting stuck in traffic or lost or on a delayed flight and turning up late. You can post in the Facebook group to see what specific accommodation people are booking.

  • Do I have to bring my own lunch?

No, we cover everything. Lunch will be buffet-style and hosted by the stadium’s catering team. If you have any dietary requirements please contact the FMA office and we’ll arrange this for you.

  • What time does it start and finish and do I have to stay all day?

It starts at 9:15am but please arrive from 8:30am onwards. There will be teas and coffees on arrival and an opportunity to catch up with your fellow FMA members before we commence at 9:15am. There will be plenty of break opportunities throughout the day and we will finish at 6pm. People leaving during the event can be disruptive so don’t be that person!

  • How can I get the most out of the Mastermind?

Come in with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Be prepared to listen to other people’s suggestions and accept that you don’t always know best. Be a curious entrepreneur, ask questions, speak to people you don’t know, and take notes throughout the day.

  • It’s a long way to travel and a day out of my business, is it worth it?

Yes. I understand that you’re giving up a full day to come to an FMA Mastermind event and that you might have to forfeit commitments with family or coaching clients but there is nothing more powerful than coming together with like-minded people who are all striving for success. That’s when the magic happens and breakthroughs occur. In the past, others have commented that they achieved more breakthroughs in the 8 hours that they were at Mastermind than in the past 8 months on their own.

  • By attending Fitness Marketing Agency Mastermind what can I expect?

Personal and professional growth. It’s impossible to know everything when it comes to running a successful business, it’s the conversations in the corridors and the relationships that are formed where the magic happens. Not only do you get to hear from great speakers that will give you inspiration and ideas but connecting with people face to face should give you a different perspective on things and will give you further ideas of what is possible.

  • I have coaching clients that day and can’t move them.

Just tell them that you’re on a course and you will learn great things which will impact them once you are back. Your clients will be supportive, and if they’re not then they shouldn’t be your clients.
